Wow, that ice is incredible! Thank goodness you can have a snow day and not have to get to work with all of that snow!

Bellezza commented on Wordless Wednesday - http://bibliophilebythesea.blogspot.com/:

I knew we had much in common besides our affection for books and the sea: sharing in the serious snowfall! I hope you're all fine. We're on our second snow day which works for me! I'm suffering from a bad cold, and not nearly enough books read lately. ;)

    I'm speechless!

Leslie commented on Wordless Wednesday - http://bibliophilebythesea.blogspot.com/:

Oh, I know how you feel. Take care and hide in the house!

Same thing here in Chicago. Snow day today and work from home tomorrow. Streets are still not passable, trains are running a reduced schedule and tomorrow below zero wind chills.

That is a crazy amount of snow. We had a couple of 'snow' days here. Not because of the snow, we hardly got any, but because of the cold.

Every time I think about complaining I just remember all of the snow you've endured so far and it quickly makes me shut up!

The only icicles we see here are the kind we hang on the house at Christmas time (ducking now).

We are experiencing destructive winds right now which is never good. Although we are still green from the rain we've had this year, fires still manage to break out.

Yvonne commented on Wordless Wednesday - http://bibliophilebythesea.blogspot.com/:

We had some ice, but by the time I went to work, things went above freezing and the roads were better. The icicles are unbelievable though, aren't they?

Alyce commented on Wordless Wednesday - http://bibliophilebythesea.blogspot.com/:

    That is beautiful and outrageous!

Kim commented on Wordless Wednesday - http://bibliophilebythesea.blogspot.com/:

Oh My -- I just got chills. Is the sign picture saying, STOP Snowing!

Lisa - Lit and Life commented on Wordless Wednesday - http://bibliophilebythesea.blogspot.com/:

Oh my goodness, there's sure no reason for a STOP sign there!

  4. I simply cannot believe how much snow you guys are getting up north! It makes me feel silly that Dallas has basically shut down for the past four days for ice (though today we do actually have snow). Stay warm!

  8. I loved the picture of the stop sign buried in the snow.

we got 20 cm last week in MTL and not nearly as much as the States.
